Office of Spiritual Formation

Rev. Dustin Metcalf
University Chaplain, Co-Director of the Office of Spiritual Formation

Dustin loves the outdoors - "It is one of the places that I have come to experience God most profoundly in my life.  I am thankful for these moments.  I love the Church.  It is in the midst of worship in a local church that I have met God most often.  One of the things that excites me most about coming back to NNU is that we get to pause three times a week to worship together."  Dustin graduated with honors from NNU in 1999 with a bachelor's in religious studies with an emphasis in missiology.  He and Olivia attended Nazarene Theological Seminary as a team, earning master's degrees and graduating with honors in 2004.  In their service as chaplains, the Metcalfs will continue the legacy of creating a living laboratory for Christian spiritual formation, shaping students of all vocations to love God, serve the Church and the world.  Dustin and Olivia have two boys that "make our lives infintely more exciting and rewarding!"
